Keith Richards wink in Milan to the Argentine fans of the Rolling Stones

“ARGENTINA the most “Stone” country in the world”, read the flag held by a man who harangued to the cry of “let’s go the Stones, the Stones, the Stones, let’s go the Stones” and “let’s go Argentina”.

This Tuesday’s show in Milan will be the band’s last before returning to the UK, where they will perform on June 25 and July 3 at Hyde Park, the scene of one of their most iconic shows in history.

It is not the first time that Richards winks at Argentina. Last March, for example, the musician had shared a video where a group of fans was seen receiving the reissue of his solo album “Main Offender” at 40×5, the Rolling Stones-themed bar located in the Devoto neighborhood.

In fact, the landing of the Stones in the country begins with Keith himself, who first appeared as a soloist before 45,000 souls who blew up the Vélez stadium in 1992, to the point of surprising the artist himself.

That demonstration of affection ended up convincing the group that at that time made up Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and the late Charlie Watts. After that show that served as a beachhead, the group came to Argentina 4 times.
