Franco Luciani will perform as a guest of the Symphonic Band for the Blind at the CCK

Under the direction of Agustin Tocalinithe Band will perform works such as Gustav Holst’s Second Suite for Band in F Major Op. 28, Vincent Persichetti’s Divertimento for Band Op. 42 and Alfred Reed’s Third Suite for Band-Ballet Scenes, while Luciani will participate in this opportunity with a selection of tangos.


The Band bears the name of its founder, the Master Pascual Grisolíawho began teaching courses at the School of Wind Instruments for the Blind in 1939, while the inaugural concert was on October 15, 1947.

It is currently one of the most prestigious musical organizations in Argentina and for its contributions to the benefit of social, cultural and musical life, it received the Camu Grand Prize from Unesco in 1997.

For his part, Luciani is a virtuoso and versatile harmonica player capable of giving his own sound to music of diverse origins and origins.

He shared stages with figures of the stature of Egberto Gismonti, Lila Downs, Eva Ayllón, Raúl Carnota, Pedro Aznar and Fito Páezalthough he also has his own group, from which he ventured into composition and singing.
