The 80s music icon Sandra (60, “Maria Magdalena”) still remembers the bedtime ritual for her twin sons.
“For years I have read my children wonderful fairy tale stories every night at 9:00 p.m. when they went to bed. I changed my voice for every character, which always fascinated my children, »she told the German Press Agency. “It was mainly English books and not the Brothers Grimm, because I didn’t want to scare my children.”
The musician, who was born in Saarbrücken as Sandra Ann Lauer, has two sons, Nikita and Sebastian, who are now in their mid-20s, with her ex-husband Michael Cretu. In the new episode of the children’s radio play series “Korgy 80”, the musician lends her voice to the robot Akaia.
According to her own statements, she donates the fee to the United Nations Children’s Fund.
