Almost every third company in Germany lets its employees work at least partially in the home office, according to a study by the industry association Bitkom. And the companies surveyed assume that the trend will continue to intensify.
“Digital technologies make it possible to work at any time and from any location,” says Bernhard Rohleder, General Manager of Bitkom, to the “FAZ”. “Trust is required from employers, and self-organization and self-discipline from employees”.
