Valentín Vera, the tiktoker who wants to enter Big Brother: “If they want rating points, they already know who to call”

“I would like to enter Big Brother because I have a winning mentality. I know that if I enter I won,” says Valentín Vera in his video. “Those long hair and muscular ones I eliminate one by one,” he adds. And he concludes: “If you want rating points, you already know who to call.”

Who Valentine Vera?

Valentine Vera exceeded one million followers on the social network TikTok. As it did? Appealing to his uncomfortable and very witty questions to different young people on public roads, on topics that can range from the signs of the zodiac, couples, through sex, to human bonds in general.

Would you leave your partner for a million dollars? How long should a man last in bed? What is the worst zodiac sign? What would you say to the last person you kissed? These are some of the questions often asked by this 25-year-old from Puerto Madryn, Argentina, who, since the middle of last year, began to transform his hobby into a profitable job.

Valentín acknowledges that the first thing he seeks through his funny questions is to entertain. “I like that the person who sees my videos feels identified with the content, which makes them interact with the video, either by commenting or liking the publication,” explained the Argentine tiktoker.

He revealed that his key when it comes to defining what kind of questions to ask is to detect debates that bring controversy, for example, on Twitter, from where several of his topics originated.

“Once on Twitter there was a debate about the signs of the zodiac,” he says. “I don’t understand any of that, but it sparked controversy,” she recalls, before which she decided to intervene with the question: “What is the worst sign?”, which generated a large number of responses and reactions.

From there, he decided to replicate that experience from his TikTok account (@valentinvera01), based on videos with casual mini-interviews with young people on public roads, which immediately had a resounding success on the social network.

In just one month, he managed to get more than 200 thousand followers: “I think I posted the right videos at the right time, because at that time no one was doing that. Now you go on TikTok and it’s full of people asking questions on the street,” he recounts. But, he warns: “You have to know how to read the trends to grow.”

“People like to give their opinions, express points of view or share experiences, so we had to find the point to motivate these types of conversations. When I started with that format on the platform in particular, there was not much content of that style, which made it easy for me to grow, ”he explains.

His next goal is to reach two million followers on TikTok, continuing to publish his mini street interviews, but also focusing on analyzing the reactions of his followers. “Since my tiktoks are about questions, there are answers that have a lot of impact and it shows in the comments. I have a video with 100,000 comments,” says the tiktoker, who at the same time intends to motivate other young people to generate their own material and spread it on the social network.
