Korn singer Jonathan Davis is sick with Covid-19. Some concerts of the metal band have to be postponed because of this.
Bad news for all Korn fans: Singer Jonathan Davis (50) has Covid-19. The musician was “tested positive for Covid”, announced the metal band. On Saturday (August 14th) the band members received the “unfortunate news”. The concert on the weekend and five other performances that should take place in the USA in the coming days have now been postponed to September and October. Two concerts at the end of August in the US state of New York have to be canceled altogether.
“As always, our primary goal is to ensure the safety of everyone involved, so this has to be done,” writes the band. Davis is “in a good mood, he’s resting and now recovering”. Addressing their fans, Korn explained: “We are just as disappointed with the circumstances as you are, but we will get through this and can hardly wait to see you again and to fire out of all cylinders.”
