Moving to the USA is out of the question for actor Tom Wlaschiha. In his own words, he would rather move to Italy.
A life in Hollywood? The actor Tom Wlaschiha (49, “Game of Thrones”) cannot imagine that, in his own words. He was “far too European” for that, he said in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”.
A house in Italy is more to his liking, he is particularly fond of the Emilia-Romagna region. “Here you have everything your soul desires: beautiful landscape, great food, sea, hills.”
On his first trip to Italy 30 years ago, he once took part in a beauty contest, the actor continued. At the event, which took place at a campsite in Sardinia, he took second place. “First was one of my buddies – he had long, blond hair.”
Wlaschiha grew up near Dresden and was initially seen in various German theater and television productions. He is best known to an international audience as Jaqen H’ghar on the HBO series Game of Thrones. Since 2022 he can be seen in a supporting role in the Netflix production “Stranger Things”.
