The daily flood of messages on her cell phone is too much for the ESC winner. She knows how to change that…
The musician Lena Meyer-Landrut (31, “Better”) feels overwhelmed by the Internet and social media.
«I feel more and more that I can no longer cope with too much information and stimuli. I need longer to recover and a lot more rest than a few years ago,” she told the German Press Agency. “It can be due to age or to the rapid developments in the world.”
She would actually like to give up her smartphone and social media, but not upload pictures and apps like Google Maps. “I haven’t had the heart to delete WhatsApp and Instagram yet, but I don’t think it will be long.” In this case, she will probably get a second cell phone that she uses for work and will simply call her friends. “But thousands of Whatsapp messages a day and group chats, that really drives me crazy.”
The pop singer, who grew up in Hanover and lives in Berlin, released her single “Looking For Love” last week. A new album is currently not in sight.
