“Celebrity Big Brother”: Pascal Kappés is looking forward to meeting his son

For Pascal Kappés, “Celebrity Big Brother” is over. Although he is sad about it, he is now looking forward to meeting his son.

Pascal Kappés (31) only moved in with “Promi Big Brother” last Wednesday, and after a few days it is over for the ex “Berlin – Day & Night” actor. Kappés is “very sad” after moving out, as he said in an interview with the news agency spot on news. To take part in the Sat.1 show was “a huge honor” for him.

The 31-year-old’s declaration that he is currently only in contact with his son Ben over the phone made waves on “Celebrity Big Brother”. Now he wants to visit his ex-partner, the former “Bachelor” candidate Denise Merten (31), and the little one soon, as he reveals in an interview. In addition, Pascal Kappés talks about the possible winner and tells which of his former roommates he wants to keep in contact with after the “PBB” exit.

How are you after you move out? You shed bitter tears.

Pascal Kappés: I have reached a hard limit mentally. I haven’t slept a second. What happened there has to be dealt with first. I am very sad. This is the TV project I’ve always wanted to do. For me it is the largest TV format in Germany. After being pretty much absent from TV for the past three years, it’s a huge honor to have been part of this incredible project.

Did you have a disadvantage because you moved in much later than the others?

Kappés: When viewed from the inside, maybe not, from the outside maybe yes. If I had been there sooner, I would probably have had more viewers on my side. From the inside, I assumed I was going to win the show for sure. That was my biggest goal.

Melanie Müller nominated you with the words that you were a ticking time bomb. What goes through your head when you hear such words?

Kappés: I didn’t think those words were so bad. It hurt me that she didn’t trust me. I could totally understand that with the ticking time bomb. I jumped around like an HB male, I was on one hundred percent energy mode. If I hadn’t been able to let out my energy like that, it would certainly have cracked. There were a few situations in the action room in which Melanie and I hissed at each other, but after that we enjoyed each other again. This is the game. Anyone who fools that doesn’t know how to play the game. It’s completely new territory for me, I still have a lot to learn and start thinking tactically sooner and faster.

Maybe you will get another chance in a different format.

Kappés: I assume so. I’m ready. After “Celebrity Big Brother” nothing can shock me any longer.

With whom did you get along particularly well and with whom did you get along particularly badly?

Kappés: I didn’t get on really badly with anyone. I’m a very open person. It was very special with Danni, but we also had many good conversations. I also got on very well with Ina. But I had most of the conversations with Erik, Danny and Jörg.

Who do you see as the winner?

Kappés: I think it will be decided between Danny and Jörg. This father-foster son relationship is well received. Jörg is the oldest in the group and an incredibly good figure, an incredibly great and empathic person. I will continue to do a lot with him in the future. I think he’ll win and I’ll give him that too.

Are you going to meet some of them after the show?

Kappés: Absolutely. I’ll meet Danny soon, as will Erik when I’m in Berlin. I will do the Way of St. James with Jörg, which I am really looking forward to. Really cool that he offered me that. Marie will whip me up a little physically. She promised me that we’d be kickboxing together. I’ll do one or two things with Melanie. I have to go to Uncle Uwe too, there is still a lot going to happen.

The story with your son made waves. Has the show changed anything in the relationship?

Kappés: The show has not changed anything, we have had more contact for months. We face-to-face and make regular phone calls. At the beginning of September I will go to see Ben and Denise, I plan to see them once a month now. My son’s birthday is also at the end of September. The next steps are not just making calls, but establishing proper contacts. I’m really looking forward to it. So far nothing has come of it because I first had to deal with myself. But now I’m very motivated, it will be great.
