The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Central District Court alleges that Drucker guided Ricky Martin through “recording contracts, touring and endorsement deals, and other professional endeavors,” citing his North American tour with Enrique Iglesias. “With her by his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions”states the 15-page complaint.
The document also refers to an incident that allegedly occurred in September 2020, where Drucker claims Martin was threatened with a “potentially career-ending indictment.” She also argues that because of his guidance, he was able to “[emerger] uninjured and [proseguir] with his professional resurgence.
The complaint describes a “forced” termination of their business relationship, and Drucker alleges that Martin regularly manipulated and lied to her, ultimately leading to her resignation in April of this year. She also says the singer “has now threatened her” with a confidentiality agreement to keep her quiet, which she refused..
Drucker has required a jury trial on all issues and causes of action.
