The Ice Bucket Challenge was the most successful internet challenge of 2014. No celebrity could resist the pressure to have a bucket of ice water poured over their heads. Years after the hype, Til Schweiger revived the hashtag #icebucketchallenge and gritted his teeth again.
But this time the actor and director is completely immersed.
The 57-year-old has installed a so-called ice bin on his finca on Mallorca.
And it obviously has it all.

At three degrees water temperature, the actor held out for a few seconds.
Wotan Wilke Möhring also passed the test of courage.
Schweiger himself was no slouch. He stayed in the ice cold water for a full 5 and a half minutes.
Cold water immersion, so-called ice bins, have long been used in sports medicine to shorten the regeneration phases of competitive athletes.
