Buenos Aires approves program to disseminate and teach River Plate music

The text emphasizes that “its main objectives are make visible and resignify works of artists of the Province of Buenos Aires, through its interpretation, dissemination and teaching” and it was clarified that the program “is made up of two instances interrelated and consecutive”.

The first of them consists of creating a stable ensemble that will recover music typical of the region to rescue its distinctive sounds, in order to build a mobile repertoire to be performed in concerts.

The second stage consists of the implementation of teaching and learning instances as a group workshop open to the public, to promote the interpretation and production of Buenos Aires music.

The resolution also indicated that, in principle, “it will take place in the city of La Plata, with the stable ensemble being able to participate in events and institutional activities of this organization in other locations in the province of Buenos Aires.”

On the other hand, the management of Axel Kicillof also launched a program called “Promotion and Strengthening of Culture in the World of Work”which will run until the end of the year and will seek to promote this type of action within the framework of unions.

It did so through Resolution 839 published in the district’s Official Gazette, where it was explained that the program proposes “guarantee the planning, management and evaluation of cultural proposals in the field of unionized work in the province of Buenos Aires”.

In this sense, the norm indicates as “main objective” of the measure “the design and management of activities, content production and access to cultural policiesfrom and for the workers of the Buenos Aires territory, organized in unions”.

In addition, it indicates that, thus, “search bridge the gap among those who have access to the production and execution of cultural scenes and those that do not, focusing on the recovery of collective senses of union worker culture.
