It’s been almost three weeks since the ‘X Factor’ star revealed that his fiancée and mother of his child, Danielle Hampson, passed away on their wedding day. He now wanted to thank all his supporters, although the grief is still huge.
“There is nothing that can be said or done,” he continued in his story, “but I have to acknowledge the immense amount of love, kindness and support that [unser Sohn] Bowie, Dan’s family, my family and I have received. It overwhelmed us,” explained Mann.
A few days after their planned wedding, Mann also turned to his fans and followers on Instagram. “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but my beloved Dani – my best friend, my heart and soul, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of June 18th,” he wrote on the photo platform .
Surprise Death
“What was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak. I feel like I cried an ocean,” he explained, then addressed words to Hampson. “We never made it to the altar, never took our vows or danced our first dance, but I know you know that you were my whole world and the best thing that ever happened to me Danielle. I will do this one.” Ring I should always wear as a token of my unconditional love for you.”
The 25-year-old’s death came as a complete surprise. As her Instagram profile shows, Mann and Hampson recently vacationed together. The couple got engaged in December 2019, and their son Bowie was born last fall. The cause of death is unclear.
