Lenny Von Dohlen is dead. The US series star was 63 years old. His manager Steven Wolfe said the actor died on July 5 at his home in Los Angeles after a long illness.
His film “Sallywood” has not yet been released
Born in Augusta, Georgia in 1958, Von Dohlen grew up in Texas and studied acting in New York City. After a few theater productions, he took on his first leading role in 1984 in the comedy “Electric Dreams”. From 1990 he played Harold Smith in the mystery series “Twin Peaks” and in 1992 in the spin-off film “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me”. He took on other series roles in “Chicago Hope”, “CSI: Miami” or “Pretender”. He was also seen in films like “Jennifer 8” with Uma Thurman (52). Most recently, he directed the indie comedy Sallywood, which is in post-production.
