Norman composed the score for “Dr. Nope”the movie of james-bond 1962 starring Sean Connery. The instrumental would become the theme song for the entire franchise.

The original orchestrations of the theme were made by Burt Rhodes, but the producers felt it needed a fresher sound. Norman said on his site: “We recognized that we needed a fresh, contemporary sound for the title track, and in young up-and-coming John Barry we found a wonderful arranger, so it all worked out really well.”
