Prince Charming season one contestant Dominic Smith has died at the age of 33, his management has announced.
Dominic Smith is dead. As the official Instagram account of the RTL show “Prince Charming” reports, the first season candidate has died.
“Words fail us”, . “Our sympathy goes out to Dominic’s family and friends.” The death of the 33-year-old was therefore confirmed by his management.
He had been bad for a long time
The cause of death is not known, but the reality TV candidate has not been doing well for a long time. In August 2021, that he had “not been really well for a few weeks” and would be going offline for a while. But he was in a positive mood that everything would soon be back to normal.
It was canceled in early June. From the Warnemünde beach, he posted thoughtful and confident lines about life. He feels again “deep connection and gratitude for life here on this planet. Connection that gives me hope to continue. Gratitude for all the small beautiful moments that I was able to experience and still want to experience. I look ahead and do not give up!”
The “Prince Charming” family mourns
Under his last post there are numerous comments from shocked companions. Sam Dylan (31), also a participant in the first season, writes: “I just can’t believe it, I will always remember you as you were.” Alexander Schäfer, the second season’s Prince Charming, writes: “I hope you are doing well where you are now.” Nicolas Puschmann (31), Prince Charming of the first season, and Martin Angelo (28) also mourned in their stories with sympathetic words.
Smith took part in the first season of “Prince Charming” in 2019 and came in second. In 2020 he was seen in the show “Couple Challenge”.
