Ex-baseball pro Alex Rodriguez (46) looks back on his relationship with Jennifer Lopez (52) “without regret” in his own words. He says so in a new podcast episode by US presenter Martha Stewart that was released on Wednesday.
“Life is good. I am very lucky. I wake up every morning thanking God for my health and for my beautiful daughters who are now 17 and 14 years old. That’s my main focus in life.”
He had a great time with Lopez, Rodriguez continued. In all decisions, they always put their children at the center. “I’ll tell you something about Jennifer, and I said it to some of my colleagues the other day, she’s the most talented person I’ve ever met.” Nobody works as hard as they do. “And I think she’s the greatest performer alive,” he added.
The singer and the athlete, who each have two children from previous relationships, began dating in 2017. In 2021, the couple announced their separation after almost two years of engagement. Over the summer, Lopez announced a new relationship with ex-partner Ben Affleck, to whom she was engaged from 2002 to 2004.
