Starting tomorrow and until Saturday the 23rd, the IV Youth Philharmonic Festival will be held in Resistencia, organized by the Pradier Foundation – Cultural Networks. The Festival takes place within the framework of the Biennial of Chaco, with the support of the embassies of Germany, Spain and Austria. “I trained in piano with Elsa Púppulo, later I continued my studies in Barcelona and Granada, and when I returned I decided to do something in Chaco, give the province, its young students, the opportunity to train,” he tells this César Pradier newspaper, owner of the Foundation. “In the beginning we started bringing donated instruments from Germany, both from individuals and from music schools. Then the Goethe Institute collaborated with the transport, later the German embassy. That was before the first festival and creating the Foundation. At first it was all by heart, with volunteers who settled in family homes. Once the Foundation was established, I met a youth orchestra in France, who were invited: everything began there, they played in Resistencia and Sáenz Peña. The exchange also started because we gathered about forty guys from the NEA who played together with the French. There was a French and an Argentine director, they shared the program, and they made both French and Argentine music”.
