Hilaria Baldwin lost two babies in 2019. On Rainbow Baby Day, she reminds of the losses – and is happy about her youngest children.
2019 was a bad year for Hilaria Baldwin (37). The yoga entrepreneur and wife of US actor Alec Baldwin (63) lost two unborn children within a few months. On the day of the rainbow babies, she remembered the loss on Instagram – and celebrated her two children who were born after the miscarriages.
In April 2019, Hilaria Baldwin learned that the baby she was pregnant with no longer had heartbeats. In September 2019, she announced that she was pregnant again. But she also suffered a miscarriage in November.
Before the miscarriages, the Baldwins had four children together: Carmen (born 2013), Rafael (born 2015), Leonardo (born 2016) and Romeo (born 2018). Son Eduardo Pau Lucas was born in autumn 2020 and daughter Maria Lucia Victor followed in 2021.
Mail for Rainbow Babies Day
Baldwin dedicated an emotional post on Instagram to the two youngest children on the day of the rainbow babies on August 22nd. Rainbow babies are children who are born after a stillbirth, miscarriage or sudden infant death of a sibling. Like a rainbow after a storm, the children bring color and light back into their parents’ lives.
Hilaria Baldwin. To this end, she wrote a text intended to give hope to other mothers who have also suffered a miscarriage.
“When I lost my babies in 2019, I thought I would cry forever,” she writes. She is still sad, but also allows herself to be happy about her rainbow children. “I also greet and am happy about my two rainbow babies and feel that I am a happy mom. We open up and heal loudly, not only for ourselves, but to let our sisters know that they are not alone”.
The 37-year-old was also open about her miscarriages and wrote about them on Instagram.
