Gymnastics Olympic champion Fabian Hambüchen has married his partner, fitness trainer Viktoria. Children are not planned yet.
You said “yes! Gymnastics Olympic champion Fabian Hambüchen (34) and his partner Viktoria got married. The fitness trainer shared the first recordings of the special day on July 16. In the video excerpts recorded by guests, the couple can be seen stepping out of the registry office.
In one recording, Hambüchen and his newlyweds descend the steps in front of the registry office after the wedding. In the videos, the bride wears a white, floor-length, lace dress with a high leg slit. The former gymnast opted for a beige suit with a matching waistcoat.
Hambüchen wants to spend the rest of his life with her
The wedding took place on Saturday at the registry office in Wetzlar, Hesse. The athlete said to the magazine: “The wedding means everything to me – because I’ve finally found what I’ve longed for in my private life.” Children are therefore “not yet” planned. The two would like to “first enjoy the moments together and travel a lot,” they explain.
In the Maldives, the 34-year-old had proposed to his partner. On a photo of him kneeling on the beach in front of Viktoria at sunset, : “Thank you for being the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. You make me a better person and all that I need is you.” He loves her so much that he can never describe it in words.
