Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are now husband and wife

Now Hollywood happiness is perfect: Ben Affleck (49) and Jennifer Lopez (52) are now officially husband and wife. The singer confirmed this in a circular to her fans on Sunday. “We did it!”, in German something like “We did it!” It says. The vows were exchanged shortly after midnight in a small wedding chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. She signed her newsletter with her new name, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck, confirming that she will use her husband’s name from now on.

It was “the best night ever,” Lopez continues. Lopez and Affleck’s children attended the wedding. “We made it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” explains the singer. Only a few hours before the wedding they flew to Las Vegas and got married without an appointment in a wedding chapel: “Exactly what we wanted.” You just stood in line with four other couples who were all doing the same trip.

J.Lo and Affleck: No Elvis impersonator available

Although they wanted an Elvis impersonator for the wedding, none was available. Nevertheless, it was the wedding “of which we have been dreaming for a long time”. Love is a great thing and worth waiting for, Lopez continues. Both were dressed in white, as evidenced by their snaps from the ceremony.

J.Lo and Affleck met while filming together in 2001. They became engaged in November 2002 but separated in 2004. Affleck married colleague Jennifer Garner (50) in 2005, with whom he has three children. The divorce followed in 2018. J.Lo married singer Marc Anthony (53) in 2004 and has twins with him. Their relationship broke up in 2014. Affleck and J.Lo have been dating since last summer, and the two got engaged in April 2022.
