Saintout highlighted the “great turnout” of the public throughout the weekend and specified that “it was an absolutely free, open event, where everyone shared with friends or family the joy of being able to meet after such difficult years”.
For the president of the Cultural Institute, “Culture is for everyone and it is a right”.
In this context, he referred to the importance of a “State present and with specific policies in this type of proposal” and stressed that “the State has to guarantee the right to produce and to access”.
“That’s why,” he said, “there were activities for all ages. There was a very open program.”
“FINDE began working virtually as a fair during the pandemic. The idea is to repeat the event in other cities of the province of Buenos Aires”, said Saintout.
“The idea is to maintain this notion of a fair where musicians meet their audiences, booksellers, publishers meet their readers, and where established and emerging artists come together,” he said.
Then, he concluded: “The province of Buenos Aires is very rich in its cultural expressions, but we don’t always have places where we see it fully. FINDE is a place of articulation.”
In addition to the three scenarios with music permanent, FINDE, convened for two days 500 artists, developers and entrepreneurs from the audiovisual, design, publishing and video game sectors.
