Kyle Anderson had only retired from the darts tour at the beginning of the 2021 season and moved back to Australia from his English residence, Nottingham, in order to be able to spend more time with his family. Anderson leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Anderson was the first professional Australian dart player with Aboriginal roots. In 2006 he started his career with the British Darts Organization and played tournaments mainly in his home country. In 2012 he moved to the PDC world association. In 2014 he played a perfect game at the world championship in the legendary “Ally Pally” (Alexandra Palace), one of the rare 9-darts. His greatest achievement was winning the Auckland Masters World Series tournament in New Zealand in 2017.
