“Celebrity Big Brother”: Paco Steinbeck and Janine Pink meet

Paco Steinbeck got a dinner date with Janine Pink at “Celebrity Big Brother”. Now, after his exit, he reveals how things will go on with them.

Paco Steinbeck (46) had to leave “Promi Big Brother” on Tuesday evening (August 24th) shortly before the final. The “super dealer” had a dispute with roommate Eric Sindermann (33) in the TV container. The Zoff was “eaten” after the ex-handball player apologized to him, Steinbeck tells in an interview with the news agency spot on news. The art and antiques dealer also reveals how things will continue for him and Janine Pink (34) after their dinner date together and which candidate, in his opinion, should turn their back on adventure in space next.

How sad are you after the exit?

Paco Steinbeck: I would have liked to have stayed longer, but the audience no longer wanted me. Then it’s okay too. I’m also a little relieved to get away from all the pressure. Otherwise, in the end, I would have had to nominate someone I didn’t want to nominate at all. That’s good the way it is.

Who would that have been?

Steinbeck: Anyone who has followed the program will be able to imagine. First daddies, then Melanie. A nomination would have been stupid. Sure, it’s a game. You know you have to nominate someone. But with the exit, I was able to pull myself out of the affair quite well. (laughs)

You said goodbye to Papis yesterday – in all your hurry – particularly nicely. Will you stay friends after the show?

Steinbeck: It is always said that these friendships only develop in the formats. It will be different with daddies. We already have a special friendship. We have planned to fly to Mallorca together, we will be there together in mid-September. I’ll be there for a week anyway and then he’ll come too. I will also be in contact with Uwe and Melanie, maybe with others too.

You had a big quarrel with Eric in the penultimate episode. What is it like to argue loudly on TV when you know that so many are watching? Don’t you think about the cameras?

Steinbeck: I have to say, I completely faded out the cameras, except when showering. The situation with Eric was a bit confused because he built up in front of me. Nobody likes that. Of course, I didn’t back off at the beginning, but at some point you think to yourself: it won’t do anything anyway. Then I said, “Please get out of my way.” He also apologized to me, then that was all eaten for me.

Janine Pink visited you on “Celebrity Big Brother”. Did you have contact with her after you left?

Steinbeck: Janine and I spoke on the phone.

How will things go on with you?

Steinbeck: We will definitely have contact, we will also meet. Everything else remains private for the time being. We have now got to know each other on television. She made me a surprise with her visit. That was super nice and great, I was also very happy. But everything else will now take place in private for the time being. Then at some point we will see whether it will work for us or not.

Marie, Danny and Eric have to fear the exit. Who do you think is going next?

Steinbeck: I’m afraid Marie. Danny has a very large community, and so does Eric I think. Of course I don’t want Marie to, but I’m afraid it will.

Would you take part again in a format in which, like “PBB”, you sometimes get a bang on the hat?

Steinbeck: As you scream into the forest, it echoes out. If I do things a little more briskly, I don’t have to be surprised if that makes someone angry. I have to admit that to myself. I can’t say yet whether there will be another format with me that is similar to “Celebrity Big Brother”. For now I’m glad that I got through it. I had a lot of fun and I don’t want to miss it. Everything else has to be shown.

Of the remaining candidates, who do you think is the most honest?

Steinbeck: Papis, of course, and Melanie. I think Uwe went through the greatest development in “Celebrity Big Brother”. In the beginning he was very quiet, now he has learned to step out of himself and talk about his private life. I also see the three in the final. But of course I don’t know how many will make it to the final – anything is possible with “Big Brother”.

For you personally, what are the biggest differences between “Celebrity Big Brother” and the show “The Super Dealers – 4 Rooms, 1 Deal”, from which you are known?

Steinbeck: I do my job at the “super dealers”. In real life, I’m an art and antiques dealer. Of course, I know exactly what I’m talking about. With “Celebrity Big Brother” it is a private situation that is accompanied by cameras. To be cooped up in such a small space with so many different people is something completely different. You can’t compare that at all.

Did you gain a certain insight through “PBB”?

Steinbeck: I should be a little calmer sometimes. It’s hard to believe, but in my private life I am very much in need of harmony. I actually don’t like arguing at all. The situation arose simply through the interaction with Rafi, Eric and Jörg. “Celebrity Big Brother” is simply an exceptional situation. The space station is already very small and cramped. It doesn’t come across like that on TV. You also have no place of retreat. It’s better on the Big Planet because you can get out of your way from time to time.
