Ashton Kutcher spoke about his participation in the Netflix spinoff of That ’70s Show

Kutcher went on to explain that he and his wife, his co-star from That ’70s Show Mila Kunisthey felt that returning to the series was the right thing to do, beyond being wonderful, of course.

“Mila and I have been looking at it,” Kutcher said. “We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position we’re in because of that show, so let’s go back and do this. We came back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.”

Kutcher also had some words of encouragement about the new series set in the ’90s: “It’s really fun. The new cast is phenomenal.”

That ’90s Show will follow Eric’s daughter (Topher Grace) and Dona (Laura Prepon), Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), while visiting his grandparents during the summer. Kurtwood Smith Y Debra Jo Rupp they return from the original cast to once again play Red and Kitty. The series, set in 1995, will follow a new generation of Point Place kids and includes newcomers Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos.

Kutcher will reprise his Michael Kelso character as a guest on the new series. The original co-stars, including Grace, Prepon, Kunis and Wilmer Valderramaare also set to join in special appearances.

That ’90s Show It does not yet have a release date on Netflix.
