Katy Perry (36) and Orlando Bloom (44) became parents a year ago. Now her daughter Daisy Dove is celebrating her first birthday. “A year ago today is the day my life began,” wrote the singer on Thursday (August 26). “Happy first birthday, my Daisy Dove, my dear.”
Daisy’s first word was “Dadda”
“Daisy is a very happy baby,” Orlando revealed to Bloom in March. The first thing he does in the morning is to check on his daughter. “She is usually already awake and squeaking in her cot,” he said. “I kiss her and we hang out. We look each other in the eye and I sing songs for her, like ‘Daddy loves his Daisy Dove’ so she knows who Daddy is.” This plan has apparently worked: Daisy’s first word was “Dadda”.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged in February 2019, daughter Daisy followed in August 2020. The family lives in the Californian city of Montecito. Orlando Bloom has ten-year-old son Flynn from his previous marriage to Miranda Kerr (38).
