“In Argentina we had an increase of more than 25% in traffic in our buildings in the first three months of 2022, showing that, indeed, employees want to work from home and spend a few days at the offices, but they have also fallen in love with the idea of working from ‘anywhere in the world’, something that is becoming more and more possible”, he explains Romina Diepa, People Manager of WeWork Argentina.
For companies, a remote work model means offering mobility, adequate working conditions, support and, most importantly, all this without affecting the experience or commitment of the collaborator. “According to our regional study, in the country, 41% of those surveyed affirm that they would prefer to return to their offices under a hybrid work model of 2 face-to-face and 3 remote days. 24% would do so under a model of 1 face-to-face day and 4 remote days, and only 4% favor a slightly more traditional model of 4 face-to-face days and 1 remote day”, diepa explains.
In order to respond to these new trends, WeWork has incorporated three business models into its operations in the region so that companies can offer the most appropriate benefit to the demands of their employees:
- All Access: It is the unlimited monthly membership, with which it is possible to have access to WeWork spaces. It is only necessary to make a reservation of a space through the App, in any of the more than 800 locations around the world, and members will already have a high-speed Internet connection, professional printers and audiovisual systems for videoconferences, with access to the buildings 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- All Access 10: It is the limited monthly membership, which provides the same benefits as the normal All Access, but limits the use to only 10 times a month.
- On Demand: It is a model of membership on demand, with which companies can distribute access cards to a broader part of their employee base as part of a benefit so that their collaborators can work from a place closer to their houses and will only pay when they actually use the space
These three models allow the use of any of the more than 700 WeWork buildings around the world.
“We believe that these products meet what companies and employees demand most today: flexibility and comfort when working. In Argentina, in the last three months of 2021, we sold more than 250 passes for use in our 4 buildings , results well above the rest of the countries in Latin America, managing to align the needs of the company with the expectations of the employee”, comments diepa.
