- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- juice of 1 lemon
- Chopped fresh cilantro or green onion
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180º and then combine the honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, stirring often, until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. The mixture will bubble as it heats up. Let cool 3 minutes.

Once the salmon with garlic and honey is prepared, it can be prepared to take away.
On a plate lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper, place the salmon fillets sprinkled with a little olive oil. Glaze the salmon with a silicone spoon or brush.
Bake the salmon for 6 minutes, then, using a spoon, lift from the plate and brush once more.
Return to the oven and continue baking until the salmon is just cooked through in the center, another 6 to 8 minutes. and then leave it for a few minutes before removing
