The German actor Andreas Schmidt-Schaller moves into a retirement home at the age of 75. “I’m leaving Berlin, going to the Marie Seebach Foundation in Weimar”,. He could move at the beginning of September. But he will “already miss the capital after 40 years”.
According to the Marie Seebach Foundation, the residential complex is the only retirement home for stage artists in Germany. The foundation would like to offer “disabled and retired members of the stage an appropriate retirement age”.
Why Schmidt-Schaller is moving
