Ex-soccer professional Michael Ballack (45) dedicates loving lines to his son Emilio (2002-2021), who died in an accident a year ago on August 5.
“My sweet angel, I remember your laughter, happiness and joy… I remember your light… with much love, and much emotion, today I will pray for your soul to rest in peace,” he writes in English on Instagram.
“I will also pray for your brothers,” adds Ballack. “With all my love … I hold you tight in my heart,” the father of three sons closes his touching post.
He illustrated his message with a photo showing Emilio in a white shirt smiling happily from the side.
Emilio was only 18 years old
Emilio comes from the long-term relationship and marriage (2008-2012) with Simone Mecky-Ballack (46). The middle of their three sons died in a quad bike accident in Portugal at the age of just 18.
