The Würzburg stabber was already known to the police before the attack on Friday and was undergoing psychiatric treatment at times. The investigators are currently examining a video in which the knife attacker reportedly reported a racist attack in Chemnitz, Saxony in 2018. “That is a trace,” said a spokesman for the State Criminal Police Office in Munich.
