In one of her last public appearances at the side of her husband, Princess Charlène was dressed completely in black. The 43-year-old hid her face behind sunglasses and a mask, her dress reached almost to the floor, a long coat and black gloves over it. Only a pink beret cheered up the dreary outfit a little. It looked as if Charlène was hiding – from the life that she has led in Monaco since she married Prince Albert II, the heir to the throne.
A month later, in February, Charlène and Albert went to another sporting event in the Principality – but that was also the case on the couple’s dates so far. Thank you for blessing me with our wonderful children,” wrote Charlène on Instagram and published a video that should document her love story with Albert.

Albert and the children are now back in the principality. Charlène is still in South Africa. It is not known whether the couple will make a joint appearance in Monaco this year. In an interview, the princess only announced that for health reasons she would not be allowed to fly again until the end of October at the earliest.
