Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton shares breathtaking pictures of his trip to Africa on social networks.
Formula 1 is currently on its summer break. The Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps will not continue until August 28, 2022. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton (37) uses the gap in the racing calendar for a trip on which he says he “finally wants to trace his roots in Africa”. The first stop on the trip is Namibia – “one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever seen with my own eyes,” according to Hamilton
In the same post, the seven-time world champion describes his trip through Africa as “something I’ve wanted to do for years.” For him, the trip is an extremely “grounding experience”. He feels “truly balanced again and at peace with himself”.
Lewis Hamilton: Next stop Kenya
The British Formula 1 star ends his Instagram post with the words: “I’m on my way to the next station”. Hamilton has now been spotted in Kenya. There he is to visit the Masai Mara nature reserve to witness the annual migration of millions of zebras and wildebeests.
