Cathy and Mats Hummels’ son is now in kindergarten. To mark the occasion, the 33-year-old published a family photo on which husband Mats can also be seen.
The latest posting may have surprised some of Cathy Hummels’ Instagram followers: The 33-year-old published a snapshot on which she can be seen together with husband Mats and son Ludwig. “For you we always stick together, because YOU are more important than EVERYTHING else,” commented Hummels on her contribution.
For several weeks there have been rumors of separation about the couple, who have been married since 2015. Neither Cathy nor Mats Hummels have commented on this so far. In return, they celebrated their son’s first day of kindergarten together. “We are very proud of you Ludwig. You are now a ‘really’ big boy and on your first day of kindergarten you will of course be picked up by mom and dad. That’s the way it should be! You’re the best child in the world,” wrote Hummels .
The three-year-old was born in January 2018 and lives with his mother in Munich, while Papa Mats is under contract with Borussia Dortmund. Since moving to BVB in 2019, the Hummels’ have had a long-distance relationship.
