The top 10 also includes artist and filmmaker steve mcqueen (“Small Axe”) in second place; Russell T Davies (“Doctor Who”, “It’s A Sin”) in third place; the fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in fourth place; the dramatist caryl churchill fifth; the dancer and choreographer michael clark sixth; the feminist writer Angela Carter (“The Bloody Chamber”) seventh; rapper and activist Stormzy eighth; the novelist Muriel Spark (“The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie”) ninth; and actress, writer and director Michaela Coell (“I May Destroy You”) tenth.
The top 50 also includes Ricky Gervais, Elton John, Steve Cogan, banksy, Ridley ScottSade, Mike Leigh, Christopher NolanBoy George, The Spice GirlsBlack Audio Film Collective, Debbie Tucker Green and Alfred Hitchcock.
