Ellen DeGeneres has responded to the death of her ex-partner Anne Heche. She sends all her love to the relatives of the deceased.
For three years, from 1997 to 2000, Ellen DeGeneres was Anne Heche’s partner. The TV presenter is shocked by the death of her ex-girlfriend on social networks: “This is a sad day. I send all my love to Anne’s children, family and friends”.
Heche was hospitalized last week after a serious accident. But her injuries proved too severe. The star, known from films like “Six Days, Seven Nights” or “Donnie Brasco”, was declared brain dead. Contrary to initial reports, she is currently still connected to machines so that the planned organ donation can be carried out.
She didn’t want to “limit herself”
Heche once said in an interview not to be reduced to a specific sexual orientation: “I would never limit myself by saying that I want to be with a man or a woman”.
Before DeGeneres, she dated actor Steve Martin (76). In 2002 she had a son with cameraman Coley Laffoon (48), whom she married in 2001. From 2007 to 2018 she was with actor James Tupper (57), and their relationship also resulted in a son together.
