Rock legend: Ozzy Osbourne: Corona pandemic is the “revenge of the animals”

The attribute “animal abuser” hung after the rocker for a long time after an “accident” in the eighties. However, Ozzy Osbourne has his own theory about the corona pandemic: the animal world is fighting back.

British rock legend Ozzy Osbourne sees the corona pandemic as a reaction of nature to human activity and the way they treat the environment. “What we experienced with Corona is the revenge of the animals,” said the 73-year-old in an interview with “Playboy” magazine. He could understand the animals that they “fight back against us,” said Osbourne with regard to the zoonosis corona – an infectious disease that can be transmitted between animals and humans.

The rock musician used the lockdown period to compose and record a new album – that kept his health stable. “Being able to make this album kept me from freaking out,” Osbourne said. “I can really imagine how it destroyed people’s heads after being locked in their houses for two years. Total horror. At least I was able to pursue goals, make the album.”

When asked if Osbourne would bite the head off a bat again, as he did at a concert in 1982, he replied: “No! That was an accident at the time and not my intention!” Osbourne’s new album “Patient Number 9” will be released on September 9th.
