A kangaroo apparently has an immense urge for freedom and hops across the meadows in Delmenhorst (near Bremen). The animal meets a cow …
A blown kangaroo in Delmenhorst has been caught again. His owner caught the animal, said a police spokesman on Friday.
The kangaroo had competed with a cow. According to earlier police reports, it was the second time within a few weeks that a kangaroo broke out in Delmenhorst. There was therefore no danger for the residents. The owner lost one of his animals at the beginning of July. At that time, the marsupial could be caught after a day on the run.
Günther Richter, a photographer from Delmenhorst, had discovered the animal on a morning bike ride: “It hopped across the meadows and probably wanted to compete with the cows,” he told the German Press Agency. After taking a photo of the running duel, he informed the police.
