The minister highlighted the good tourist moment that Salta is experiencing, after having made a presentation at the twelfth edition of the Real Estate Development and Investment Congress that takes place in the city of Buenos Aires.
The Salta representation at the international event, the only one at the Argentine provincial level in the midst of presences from different continents, focused on a general invitation to “invest in Salta”, with representatives of the Chamber of Developers of Salta (CaDiSal).
“We are happy, as a government vision to be able to accompany this public and private work, of how tourism has managed to consolidate in Salta from that place,” he said.
In line with the reason for the presentation in Congress, Peña pondered “the possibility of investing and growing in Salta” and added that “with the Chamber of Real Estate Developers we have taken a commitment as a government to be in a place where private investments happen ”.
“We believe that in Salta we have wonderful opportunities,” he said, and in that sense, he stressed that “tourism has a plan and within that plan is growth, which obviously needs the support of a thriving private sector that makes the decision to invest in our province,” he said.
He highlighted the scope of the Plan Liderar and said that “it is a collective construction of the province that has established a course for the next 5 years.”
From the plan of what is projected in terms of tourism development, he indicated that due to the evolution that is taking place they think “to exceed what was projected as objectives”, and gave the case of the airport as an example, “we expect the tender for the end of this year to start construction early next”.
