Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck: Dream wedding in white – but without the brother?

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in front of a picturesque backdrop. But apparently another Affleck was surprisingly missing.

A meter-long train on the pompous wedding dress, all party guests in white and all in front of a suitable backdrop at the lake: The wedding of Jennifer Lopez (53) and Ben Affleck (50) can definitely be described as fantastic, as can be seen from numerous pictures of the ceremony, . Whether on the jetty, the entrance to Affleck’s plantation-style villa or the white carpet rolled out for her – the prominent bridal couple is clearly pining on the recordings.

The wedding ceremony took place last Saturday, the second of three scheduled days of celebrations. There was reportedly a rehearsal dinner on Friday, with a lavish barbecue for all guests on Sunday (21 August). Those present are said to include talk show host Jimmy Kimmel (54), actress Drea de Matteo (50) and Affleck’s childhood friend and Oscar winner Matt Damon (51).

Of course, the five children of the two should also have been present at the ceremony. J.Lo and her ex, musician Marc Anthony (53), have twins Emme and Maximilian (14) together. Affleck has three children with actress Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Before the wedding, it was said Garner had been invited but was unable to attend due to other commitments.

Where was Casey Affleck?

Ironically, another star, who is even related to the actor, is said to have stayed away from the wedding, contrary to expectations: Affleck’s little brother Casey Affleck (47) was intercepted on a street in Los Angeles – literally at the other end of the United States. In video from the meeting, the reporter can be heard asking Affleck why he wasn’t at his brother’s wedding. However, Casey Affleck did not give a concrete answer and got into his car.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have not only been husband and wife since this Saturday. In July of this year they said yes shortly after midnight in the famous “Little White Wedding Chapel” in Las Vegas. In contrast to the wedding this weekend, the Vegas wedding took place in an intimate circle.
