US actor Gary Busey (78) was charged with sexual assault on Friday (August 19). According to , the sex crimes reportedly happened last weekend (August 12-14) at the annual Monster-Mania Convention at the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Busey had been invited to the event as a celebrity guest. According to the police report, the actor is now charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual contact and one count of molestation. The investigations are in full swing.
Gary Busey is best known for his role as Buddy Holly in the 1978 film The Buddy Holly Story, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Busey has been married twice and has three children. His son Jake Busey (51) is also an actor.
