Sheryl Sandberg (52) could hardly be happier. The co-CEO of social media giant Meta (formerly Facebook, Inc.) tied the knot with her partner, consultant and TV producer Tom Bernthal, over the weekend. the two now a first wedding photo.
It shows the happy bridal couple in the middle of a sunny forest. Sandberg wore an elegant, beaded, lace wedding dress with a long train and Carmen neckline. Bernthal threw himself into a chic black tuxedo. In the photo, the two hold hands while Bernthal examines his bride with a smile. “Married,” Sandberg just wrote about the photo and posted a lot of red hearts.
“A Dream Come True”
On the other hand, it got much more emotional. “Over the past three years we have brought our lives together and our families merged. Our wedding today was a dream come true,” wrote the TV producer.
In February 2020, the two made their engagement public on Instagram. Sandberg received the application during a hike in New Mexico. The two have been a couple since the summer of 2019. It is the third marriage for Sandberg and the second for Bernthal.
Heavy stroke of fate 2015
Sandberg was married to Brian Kraff from 1993 to 1994. She remarried to Dave Goldberg in 2004, but her second husband died of a heart attack in 2015 at the age of 47. Her second marriage produced two children, a boy and a girl. Bernthal brought three children into the marriage.
