The project, promoted by the Colectivo Teatristas Autoconvocades, was presented by the deputy Stefanía Cora. “It is a deep joy and pride to represent the theater group with a collective, federal law, with a popular and feminist perspective,” the deputy from Entre Ríos explained to Télam.
Cora highlighted the “effort of many theater people who fought for this law”, which allows “to start walking the process that repairs years of struggles and commits to access to culture”.
The Provincial Theater Council will be made up of five representatives -one for each region of the province- elected by direct vote of the members of the regional community they represent, and a representative of the Ministry of Culture. To do this, a register must be created with the number of artists by region who must vote for their representatives.
In order to register, they must be over 16 years of age, have an address in Entre Ríos, and have participated in at least three theatrical activities in the last five years.
Workers of the entrerriano theater will be able to register in the padrón by completing the form (https://bit.ly/padrontier), although for questions or queries they can send an email to Consejoprovincialdeteatroer@gmail.com.
