Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez celebrated a lavish wedding in the US state of Georgia over the weekend. Now the 53-year-old has shared a first look at her three wedding dresses designed by designer Ralph Lauren.
In the presence of family and friends, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married for the second time in the US state of Georgia over the weekend. The actor has had a stately home there since 2003. A few days after the ceremony, the 53-year-old published photos of her wedding dresses in her newsletter On The JLo. The US magazine “Vogue” also showed pictures of the three creations designed by designer Ralph Lauren.
For the actual wedding, which according to “Vogue” lasted 45 minutes and took place outdoors, Lopez wore a high-necked robe with a feather collar, small sleeves and a low back. The highlight was the sweeping skirt, for which 1000 panels of fabric were attached by hand and a further 500 meters of fabric were processed to create a ruffled train. Lopez wore a yard-long tulle veil and $100,000 worth of jewelry.

Designer Ralph Lauren also outfitted groom Ben Affleck and the couple’s five children, who played key roles in the ceremony. All guests also came in white – otherwise it’s actually a no-go at weddings.
For the celebrations, Jennifer Lopez changed her outfit twice more. For one, she opted for a slim-fitting gown that was lavishly embellished with crystals and pearls and also had a low-cut back. The dress was intended to resemble a chandelier and was made by 30 craftswomen in 700 hours of work. On the other hand, Lopez presented a white mermaid-style dress with crossed straps on the back and a small train. She wore a veil hood on her head.
“The dresses were gorgeous, thanks Ralph Lauren,” the singer wrote in her newsletter. She promised her fans: “I’ll be releasing a few more pictures and details from our big day shortly.” For now, Lopez and Affleck are enjoying their honeymoon. The couple was last photographed on Lake Como.
