They determined that police officers and firefighters, who took and shared photos of the victims’ remains, had invaded Vanessa Bryant’s privacy and caused her emotional distress. Vanessa Bryant and co-plaintiff Chris Chester have sued Los Angeles County for an undisclosed amount of millions over the leaked photos. Chester also lost two family members in the helicopter crash, his wife Sarah and 13-year-old daughter Payton. The jury awarded him $15 million in damages.
