Olivia Wilde deals out vicious action to ex Jason Sudeikis

Actress Olivia Wilde received her custody papers from her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis while she was on stage. Now she has condemned the action as malicious and found clear words for her ex.

So far, the official version of the story has gone like this: Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have split after nine years of dating and two children together, but are on good terms and speak well of each other. That’s over now. In an interview, Olivia Wilde spoke for the first time publicly about an uncomfortable situation that Sudeikis put her in. And her words came out clearly.

“I was at work. And in any other work environment, that would have counted as an attack. It was really upsetting,” she said of the moment in April when she was onstage at an event in Las Vegas and surprised her with court papers regarding the custody battle with Sudeikis. Wilde stayed cool at the time and continued to advertise her film, Sudeikis later asserted that he had no influence on the delivery date.

‘Was vicious’: Olivia Wilde doesn’t believe Jason Sudeikis

But that’s exactly what Wilde doubts. “That shouldn’t have happened. There was a big security gap,” she said in an interview, explaining that the action must have been carefully planned. Several entry bands and special corona tests were necessary days in advance in order to even get to this stage. “I hate that this meanness distracted from the work of many people and the company I represented up there. Trying to sabotage that was really malicious,” said the harsh words towards Sudeikis. Then she hinted at bigger issues with the “Ted Lasso” star: “Sadly, that didn’t totally surprise me. There’s a reason why I left this relationship,” said the 38-year-old.

So far, public sympathy has mainly been for Sudeikis, as Wilde started a new relationship with singer Harry Styles shortly after the breakup was announced. She had become closer to him during the shooting of her current film “Don’t Worry Darling”, for which she had hired Styles as the leading actor as director. Sudeikis is now said to be dating British model Keeley Hazel.

In the interview, Wilde was also angry because Sudeikis had drawn the children into the public action. “It was terrifying for me, but the victims are an eight-year-old and a five-year-old, and that’s really sad. I chose to be an actress and want to be in the spotlight. But my kids didn’t ask for it. And if my kids come with me being drawn into it is very painful,” says Wilde.

The point of contention between the ex-couple is apparently the common children. At the moment both share custody, the little ones switch between the parents on a weekly basis. Namely in London, where the family once moved to film “Ted Lasso” – and where Wilde’s new partner Styles also has a home. From there, Wilde commutes to Los Angeles, where they lived before the move, and Sudeikis to New York City. A court recently rejected a request by Sudeikis to move the children and the custody battle to the east coast. This is to be decided in California. Insiders report that Wilde and Sudeikis no longer speak to each other.
