Actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin have broken up after 25 years. The 54-year-old has filed for divorce and states in her application that the relationship is “irretrievably broken”. In addition, Flavin accuses the Hollywood star of intentionally wasting parts of the common fortune and demands compensation. Stallone told the US magazine “People”: “I love my family. We approach these personal issues amicably and privately.”
In addition, the 76-year-old denies reports that a dispute over the new family dog was the reason for the couple’s separation. “We didn’t end the relationship because of such a trivial argument. We just went in different directions,” Stallone told the US portal “TMZ”. “I have the utmost respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She is an amazing woman. She is the nicest person I have ever met,” added the actor.
However, Stallone acknowledged that there were differences around him. So it wasn’t clear who should take care of the animal when he’s on the road for film projects. Jennifer Flavin apparently didn’t want to do it. In addition, the couple commuted between two residences in Los Angeles and Palm Beach. Flavin now wants the villa in Florida for himself, and Stallone is said to live on the west coast.

He had a photo of his wife pierced on his upper right arm – instead, the picture of his deceased dog Butkus is emblazoned there. A spokesman for Stallone said the 76-year-old only wanted to brush up on his wife’s motive, but it failed. As an emergency solution, he decided on the four-legged friend.
