Pekny was acquitted of allegations of serious sexual abuse at the end of July 2021. The district court of Munich I came to the conclusion that no evidence could be provided. There he had passed on the sleeping women and made videos and photos of them. Pekny had always denied the allegations. After the trial, the head of the theater resigned from his post.
