The two evenings of the Argentine version of the festival will take place at the Movistar Arena, at Humboldt 450, Villa Crespo, and will offer a grid entirely dedicated to heavy metal and hard rock.

The night of December 8 will have as a corollary to slipknot. The alternative metal band formed in 1995 in Iowa, USA, will close the first day anticipating their new album, “The End, So far”.

Meanwhile, the legendary Judas Priestrecurrent visitors from Argentina, will play on December 13, celebrating their half century of life and closing the festival.

What is Knotfest?

Knotfest is a festival created in 2012 by Slipknot to expand the subgenres of metal and grow its audience, which included Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Bring Me the Horizon, Prong, Deadly Apples, In This Moment, Amen, Butcher Babies and Prayers.

The event was held in an itinerant way in the United States, United Kingdom, Finland, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Colombia and France.

Among the highlights will be the return of the mythical band Pantera, which was included in the festival’s grid in Chile, Colombia and Brazil, although without confirmation the group led by Phil Anselmo will perform in Argentina.
