Many know the actor Joe E. Tata from the cult series “Beverly Hills 90210”. There he played the nice owner of the “Peach Pit”. According to his daughter, he passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 85. He had Alzheimer’s disease.
Earlier this year, his daughter started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe in relation to her father’s care. There Kelly Tata wrote: “I am devastated to report that my father Joe E. Tata passed away peacefully last night. My father and I are forever grateful for the love and support of family, friends and fans.” His daughter did not give details of the cause of death.
Colleague appreciates him on Instagram
Ian Ziering, Joe E. Tata’s co-star, took to Instagram to be saddened by his colleague’s death. He is one of the happiest people he has ever worked with.
In addition to ten seasons as Nat on Beverly Hills 90210, Tata has had roles on the television series Lost Space, The Other Limits, and Mystery Girls.
